Sketchy Thursday

I won several prizes at Sketchy Thursday.

How about these adorable stitched felt embellies? They are made by Amanda and found in another Etsy shop Crafty Paper Girl.

Don't you just love the texture of the canvas journey notes and felt/fabric flower set? I will be adding these to layouts very soon. These are from Jessi's Southern Lens Etsy shop.

I received these beautiful Berry Watercolor Notecards from Angela Fehr. They are almost to pretty to use, maybe I'll admire them for a while, then use them. :)

The mixed media flowers and map flowers are from an Etsy shop called Design by Diana. Those map flowers are perfect with some travel pictures I have laying here - LOVE them. With a very girly DGD to scrap for I won't have any trouble using those purple flowers.

The School Rules embellishment kit is from another Etsy shop Green Horned Unicorn. I love the collection of layered primary colored flowers and buttons and the beautiful trims. These will go perfectly with some school pictures I have yet to scrap.

I am so lucky to have received these awesome prizes - check out their shops for more fabulous embellies for your scrapbook and card needs.

Dragonflies & Daisies

I won the prize over at Sketch Inspiration with sketch 142. My prize was the Amber Road kit from Dragonflies and Daisies. WOW, that was an amazing prize. I LOVE Pink Paislee papers and these are paired up with some wonderful embellies from Prima, Pink Paisley, Basic Grey and Bo Bunny.

I'll dig into these after I get a card made for Katie's birthday.

Take 2

The Scrappiest sketch #84; loved working with this one.

Papers are Sassafras Lass and Colorbok. Cardstock Stampin Up! Rub-on alphas Arctic Frog. Tim Holtz grungeboard #2. Rub-on flower vine Stampin Up! Butterfly sticker EK Success. Bling trail Prima. Journaling card Sassafras Lass. Gel flower Heidi Swapp. Felt flower American Crafts. Brad Making Memories. Blue flower, gel corner sticker and "be silly" unknown.

The first picture is our youngest DD in 1983, the second picture is her again with our DGD in August of this year. Same place, different centuries.

Thank you for stopping by.

Lola

When you think of the colors brown, burgundy and orange you generally think of fall pictures. But, living in Florida, I don't have many fall pictures. I could go dig out some older ones to scrap, but um.....that means I'd have to get up and spend time looking for them. LOL Instead I decided to do the color challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking with pictures of DD's cat (we were cat sitting) when she fell in the pool and I was drying her off.

BG Archaic pp and chipboard anchor
Chatterbox date card
Glitz rub-on journaling piece
Stampin Up! felt flowers
AC felt Thickers
misc. brads and buttons

Hop you are having a fabulous day.

Autumn ...

I think the quote on this card says it all for Autumn. There is something about the rich colors of fall - rust, orange, brown, deep reds. We don't get a real feel of fall here in Florida, so I enjoy using these colors when I make my fall and Thanksgiving cards.

This card was made for the "All Year Cheer" card challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, we were to use vellum on our card. I don't remember where I got this vellum quote, but I was happy for this challenge to push me to use it. The papers are Scenic Route - just have small scraps left as they are so pretty. The felt leaf is Queen & Company.

Happy fall ya' all.

I received a package in the mail today with some Christmas and summer themed Maya Road chipboard pieces. I'd won these playing a "Fill in the Blanks" game over at Scrapbooking Challenges. Aren't they fun, thank you Sookie!!!

I did the "trifecta" at Design Dollies. Used the color challenge of lavender, tan and navy; a recipe challenge using a ticket, yellow, polkadots, paint and journaling or wordy statement and last the sketch.

sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist "Coffee Shop"
Sassafras Lass papers and paper flowers with button.
Memories Complete - playing card
Queen and Co - felt flourish
ticket stamp - Maya road (I think)
twill tape was stamped with a Stampin Up! wheel called Baroque Border
rick rack is from my stash
love heart charm was a RAK

Thank you for stopping by.
