Pet School

For my stamping challenge at Scrap 'N Chat I hope to encourage you to dust off your stamps and use them on your layouts, cards or projects. We will use stamps in different ways, stamp on different products and revisit some older (or maybe new to you) techniques.

This month my stamping challenge if you choose to accept it is to stamp on tabs and/or tags. These are a great way to use small quotes, individual words, small images, etc. If there is part of a stamp you want to use, just color that area in with markers then stamp.

Some tips when stamping – practice on sample paper to get the feel of the pressure needed. You don’t need to use the whole stamp; sometimes less is more when it comes to stamping.

You can do digi, cards or any paper craft as long as it meets the criteria of the challenge.

I have a card challenge over at Scrap 'N Chat a new scrapbooking site a friend just started. My challenge is to use punches somewhere on your card. There are so many cute critters made from punches. Or you can use your punches for borders, circles or other shapes. Please come join us.

It's the 15th of February which means new challenges at Scrapping the Moments.

For this month's challenge you need to stamp on alphas/numbers.

You can use any type alphas - stickers, chipboard, die-cut, etc.

Stamps can be anything you choose. I love using my background, small flowers, flourishes, etc.

I chose vinyl Thickers that were brighter than I wanted, so stamped them with brown Staz-on using a wood grain stamp to tone them down a bit and add interest.

I've been busy making some Valentines to send to family and shut-ins at our Church. Most are made using up scraps - so it's a little of this and a little of that.

I used the sketch at My Sketch World for this layout. Using mostly Sassafras Lass papers. Fussy cutting the butterflies from some paper by Reminisce. These photos were taken at Gatorland.
