Autumn ...

I think the quote on this card says it all for Autumn. There is something about the rich colors of fall - rust, orange, brown, deep reds. We don't get a real feel of fall here in Florida, so I enjoy using these colors when I make my fall and Thanksgiving cards.

This card was made for the "All Year Cheer" card challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, we were to use vellum on our card. I don't remember where I got this vellum quote, but I was happy for this challenge to push me to use it. The papers are Scenic Route - just have small scraps left as they are so pretty. The felt leaf is Queen & Company.

Happy fall ya' all.

I received a package in the mail today with some Christmas and summer themed Maya Road chipboard pieces. I'd won these playing a "Fill in the Blanks" game over at Scrapbooking Challenges. Aren't they fun, thank you Sookie!!!

This is a fun sketch and great way to use up some small pieces.

Memories Complete - playing card
Queen and Co - felt flourish

1 fish 2 fish

I did the color challenge over at Design Dollies - black, burgundy, yellow and optional white - I think my burgundy slid into the red a bit more than it should have.

Papers are DCWV and Scrapworks. Chipboard paisleys by Deluxe Designs. Numbers grungeboard painted and spritzed with Shimmerz Barn Door, rub-on alphas by Doodlebug Design. Ribbon is by Maya Road I think.

Have a fabulous Friday.
