arsenic poison

Sketch from My Scraps & More.  Art challenge from Scrap 'N Chat.  Photos of Melissia in the school costume parade - one of my favorite costumes I'd made the girls for Halloween.

EEEK!

I LOVE the story these photos tell.  We took Katie to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  She didn't like being in the fairy costume, kept staring at us in the face paint - she was really taking everything in.  But you can tell how comfortable she was snuggling up on my lap.  Can you tell I love this little girl?  Color challenge from Scrap 'N Chat.

I'm Scarier than you!

Here's my take on the sketch from Scrap 'N chat.

Our girls were seldom dressed as anything scary, so had to use this title on this layout.  Since the photo's had so much orange in them it was a good time to pull out all those black, green and purple papers.

The October card challenge at Scrap 'N Chat  is to use the bleach technique.  Splitcoaststampers  has some of the best tutorials out there and this is no exception.

Gateway to fun

I used the left half of the sketch from the Basic Grey sketch challenge.  I've been a Basic Grey fan for years, while I don't have every collection I have quite a stash.

For this layout I used:
cardstock - Stampin Up!
inks & mists - Stampin Up! and Tattered Angels
pp - BG Archaic
border strip and stickers - BG Archaic
buttons - BG Infuse and Ambrosia
Alpha - BG Archaic, Marrakech and Mello

Jack-O-Lanterns

Jennifer and Melissia with their Jack-O-Lanterns in 1980.  This is for a lift challenge at Scrap N Chat.  The original layout came from a blog Inside My Head.  I love this design.
